Today marks an important step for AnchorED. Over the past few months I’ve been thinking a lot about what students truly need during the college application process. After reflecting on my own journey and speaking with mentors and peers, I’ve realized that what’s missing is accessibility, transparency, and a genuine sense of support.

To start learning directly from students, we’re offering a few services beginning this week:

• Essay review (personal statement and supplements)

• Application strategy (brainstorming, storytelling, timelines)

• Extracurricular planning

• Final application review

Why are we doing this? Because we’re a team of advisors and college students who have been through the process ourselves, and we know how overwhelming it can feel. Our mission is to make advising accessible, affordable, and centered on the student experience. 

Think of it like sitting down for a one-on-one conversation, where your materials are reviewed by application veterans and seasoned advisors who know what works. In return, we’ll simply ask you a few short questions about your own thoughts on the system.

For the 2025 and 2026 application seasons, we’re offering a free 2-hour consultation to help students take their next step with confidence.
